Description
Yuba County is seeking proposals from qualified professionals to provide workplace security assessments, workplace violence prevention services, and workplace security training. The services aim to enhance the safety and security of county employees, elected officials, clients, and the public across various county departments and facilities. The scope of work includes conducting facility physical security assessments, hazard vulnerability assessments, and safety culture evaluations. Recommendations for policy improvements, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement will be provided. The selected consultant will also offer consultation on employee and management workplace violence prevention, including guidance on roles and responsibilities, development of response procedures, and threat assessment practices. Training services will cover general workplace safety and security, physical safety and security, department-specific training tailored to operational needs, and leadership/supervisor training on safety and violence prevention. The objective is to strengthen workplace safety practices through improved prevention, preparedness, response, reporting, and recovery efforts.
