Description
The City seeks contractors to provide tree trimming, pruning, and cleanup, including removal and disposal of branches and debris. Work may involve public or private property and includes routine assignments, emergency response with specified response windows, and time-and-materials work. Contractors must provide the labor, equipment, and materials; follow ANSI A300 and ANSI Z133.1 standards; and have at least three years of similar arboriculture experience. An ISA Certified Arborist must oversee the work. The City expects approximately 6,000 trees to be serviced annually, but quantities and assignments may vary, and work may be assigned across districts and at reservoir properties. The initial service period is January 1 through December 31, 2027, with up to two additional annual extensions by mutual agreement. Bidders must submit unit pricing for tree sizes, emergency response, and time-and-materials categories. The City may award to multiple suppliers. The required submission includes the bid table, Supplier Submission Page, EEO Form, and IRS Form W-9; bids must be submitted through the procurement portal. Insurance certificates are required from the successful bidder, not with the bid.
