Description
The City of Portland is soliciting unit-price bids for the 2026 Point Repairs Project. The work includes approximately 3,272 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron gravity sewer main, 726 linear feet of 12-inch ductile iron gravity sewer main, 80 linear feet of 6-inch force main, sewer service lines, a new sewer lift station with pumps, controls, telemetry, electrical work, backup generator, fencing, and related valves, fittings, manholes, casings, connections, and appurtenances. The project also includes demolition or abandonment of existing lift-station and force-main facilities, roadway, driveway, sidewalk, curb and gutter, fence, and mailbox repairs, erosion and traffic control, and general conditions. Bids must include 5% bid security; the successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds and maintain the specified insurance. The work must reach substantial completion within 120 calendar days and final completion within 150 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed start date. The bidder must hold the required Tennessee contractor license classification, identified as type MU.
