Description
The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis for 48 units per period of performance of defibrinated rabbit blood, with each unit consisting of one 50 mL bottle. Each unit must have a lot number and associated product data sheet. The product must be packaged to prevent damage, leaks, and spillage; comply with applicable shipping regulations; and arrive at 2–8 degrees Celsius. The requirement includes a base year plus four one-year option periods. This is a notice of intent to sole source, not a request for competitive proposals; interested parties may submit capability statements for consideration of whether a competitive procurement is appropriate.
