Description
The California Department of Transportation is soliciting staffing services for its District 7 office building at 100 South Main Street, Los Angeles. The contractor must provide one Chief Engineer II, one Chief Engineer I, four Stationary Engineers, two Maintenance Mechanics, and two Electricians II to perform facility engineering, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, building-systems support, emergency response, and related operational duties. Services include support for HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, fire and life-safety, energy-management, access-control, water-treatment, and other building systems. Personnel must meet specified experience, training, certification, and safety requirements, including EPA CFC certification for applicable positions and training in confined space, arc flash, lockout/tagout, fire-pump testing, and universal refrigerant recovery. The agreement prohibits subcontracting and is structured for three years of service, with estimated Year 1 through Year 3 hourly quantities and overtime line items. Prevailing-wage requirements apply as specified, and the award is based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid, subject to applicable small-business preference and DVBE incentive provisions.
