Description
This Request for Information seeks industry feedback on the delivery and acquisition strategy for an approximately 56,000-square-foot heated and ventilated maintenance support facility. The project would include vehicle storage and washing, maintenance areas, receiving and loading docks, environmentally controlled storage, offices, workstations, conference space, lockers, latrines, showers, a breakroom, and a fuel station. Supporting work includes utilities, site development, paving, parking, drainage, landscaping, signage, and facility-related control systems for electronic security, building automation, electric power management, lighting control, and fire alarm/mass notification systems. The anticipated acquisition strategy is a Progressive Design-Build Other Transaction Agreement, with Phase 1 covering design and pre-construction services and Phase 2 covering final design and construction after negotiation of a Guaranteed Maximum Price. The estimated acquisition magnitude is $75 million to $85 million, with a target budget of $80.8 million and an anticipated period of performance from fiscal year 2028 through fiscal year 2030.
