Description

Madison County Public Library is requesting proposals for new E-Rate-eligible Category 2 switching equipment and licensing. The solicitation seeks 24-port and 48-port PoE+ switches meeting specified port, uplink, power-budget, switching-capacity, forwarding-rate, and internal-power-supply requirements, with five years of manufacturer support including 24/7 technical support, software and firmware updates, and next-business-day advance hardware replacement. Proposals may offer the makes and models listed in the pricing attachment or technically equivalent alternatives supported by product specifications and documentation. Used, open-box, refurbished, partial, or incomplete offers will be disqualified. Vendor installation services are required. Pricing must include all costs, including shipping, licenses, and components needed for the equipment to function, and must be submitted using the provided pricing attachment in Excel format with unit pricing, SKU-level charges, E-Rate eligibility percentages, and applicable service categories. The applicant requires discounted SPI billing, compliance with FCC covered-equipment restrictions, and the lowest corresponding price. The preferred agreement term is April 1, 2027, through September 30, 2029; an initial term through September 30, 2028, with one optional renewal is also acceptable. The proposal must be emailed to all listed Form 470 contacts by November 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM Eastern Time.
