Description
Pasadena Unified School District is requesting statements of qualifications and proposals from qualified firms to provide third-party commissioning agent services for the Longfellow Elementary School Modernization Project. The scope includes developing and managing the commissioning plan, reviewing equipment and controls submittals, preparing pre-functional checklists and functional performance test procedures, coordinating commissioning meetings, conducting site visits, witnessing testing, maintaining an issues log, verifying operations and maintenance training, and preparing final commissioning documentation and a systems manual. Systems identified for commissioning include HVAC and refrigeration equipment, building automation and energy management systems, emergency power, power distribution, lighting controls, and renewable energy systems. The selected firm must be appropriately licensed, certified, and insured, have relevant public-school and California regulatory experience, and maintain a staffed office within 75 miles of the District. Responses are limited to 50 pages and must include qualifications, personnel, approach, schedule, claims, references, conflicts, current commitments, past K–14 projects, and a lump-sum not-to-exceed cost proposal.
