Description
The Town of Sandersville is soliciting bids for construction work involving cured-in-place rehabilitation of sewer mains and improvements to a wastewater lagoon. The contractor must furnish all labor, plant, equipment, and materials required by the specifications and drawings, comply with applicable Build America, Buy America requirements, and meet Mississippi contractor qualification requirements, including a current Certificate of Responsibility for the relevant construction classification. The contract time is 120 consecutive calendar days from the effective date in the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must submit a separate Statement of Qualifications describing similar projects, references, key personnel, and other supporting information. A bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the bid is required; the successful bidder must provide payment and performance bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount. The project also includes applicable HUD Section 3 and equal-opportunity requirements.
