Description
This is a Sources Sought/RFI, not a solicitation for bids or proposals. The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for suppliers able to provide specified Scanlan micro-neurosurgery instruments and metal sterilization trays, including forceps, scissors, a knot tier/pusher, and a needle holder. The requested quantities are intended to replace aging instruments and increase capacity for brain tumor resections and complex spine procedures. Items must match the existing instrument sets, be new and in original manufacturer packaging, and meet VA sterilization and routine reprocessing requirements. Respondents are asked to answer questions about manufacturing location and business size, Non-Manufacturer Rule compliance, authorized distributor status, company capabilities and qualifications, and applicable contract vehicles. Responses must include supporting documentation where requested and estimated market pricing.
