Description
The Defense Health Agency intends to award Draeger Inc. a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract for original equipment manufacturer maintenance, repair, and calibration of installed Draeger medical equipment. The work covers equipment in the Anesthesia and Internal Medicine departments, including ventilators, anesthesia machines, and vaporizers, and includes labor, parts, preventive maintenance twice per year, and corrective maintenance. The contractor must maintain replacement parts or supply them within three days; corrective maintenance response times and other service requirements are specified in the statement of work. This is a notice of intent, not a request for competitive quotes. Interested parties challenging the sole-source basis may submit a capability statement with management and technical data and cost information, limited to six 8.5-by-11-inch pages using at least 10-point font. The notice requests Microsoft Word or Adobe PDF attachments by email; it also says telephone requests or offers will not be honored.
