Description
The Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance is conducting the first phase of a two-phase procurement to prequalify trade contractors for the new Framingham Justice Center. The project is a 120,000- to 130,000-gross-square-foot courthouse with courtrooms, support spaces, secure circulation, a sallyport, and demolition of the existing former museum building. Nine trade packages are subject to prequalification: masonry; miscellaneous and ornamental iron; waterproofing, dampproofing, and caulking; roofing and flashing; elevators; fire protection sprinkler systems; plumbing; HVAC; and electrical. Estimated trade values range from $802,000 to $15,350,000, with an estimated overall construction cost of $130,000,000. Applicants must submit a statement of qualifications with the required forms, schedules, project experience, references, financial information, bonding commitment, certification documentation, and supporting materials. Only firms prequalified in Phase One may bid in the subsequent phase.
