Description
The Alligator Point Water Resources District is soliciting sealed bids for the Water Meter Replacement project, SRF Project No. DW190800. The work includes removing existing ¾-inch, 1-inch, and 2-inch bronze-bodied mechanical meters and replacing them with new solid-state meters; developing a cellular communications system to support monthly billing and a customer interface for daily flow data; providing staff training; and continuing customer service. The project is funded through the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and is subject to Chapter 62-552 of the Florida Administrative Code and applicable supplemental conditions. Contractors are strongly advised to review the FDEP supplemental conditions before submitting a bid.
