Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting the repair, upgrade, testing, inspection, and return-to-service of 14 Digital Map Units, part number 698092-7 and NSN 015212569, for the KC-130J aircraft system. The contractor must provide the facility, labor, materials, replacement parts, tooling, testing, inspection, quality control, storage, and documentation necessary to restore the units to Ready for Issue condition. Repairs must comply with applicable drawings, repair manuals, configuration-management requirements, MIL-STD-130 marking requirements, and specified quality-system and calibration standards. The initial induction period is 365 calendar days from contract award, with a government option to extend it by an additional 365 days. Offerors must provide pricing for up to 18 units over the entire contract period, including the initial quantity, and the requested repair turnaround time is 90 days.
