Description
The Maine Army National Guard requires a contractor to install and integrate a complete government-furnished police-style emergency response lighting system and battery charging system on a government-owned Ford F-550 Vehicle Mounted Radiation Detection System. Government-furnished equipment includes Whelen lighting assemblies, a Whelen Core and Controller unit, and a Kussmaul battery tender with an auto-eject shore power connection. The contractor must provide personnel, supervision, tools, materials other than the government-furnished equipment, and installation expertise. Work includes routing, securing, protecting, and concealing wiring; integrating the lighting components with the central controller; installing the battery tender and shore-power connection; conducting functional testing with a government representative; repairing installation-related damage; and cleaning the work area. The work must be completed within one week from the start date at the contractor's installation facility. Quotes must include a completed SF 1449 and a separate technical proposal addressing the stated evaluation criteria.
