Description
Henry County is soliciting professional mapping services to acquire and process current color digital aerial imagery and Quality Level 1 airborne LiDAR across approximately 384 square miles and more than 60,000 parcels. The scope includes GNSS-IMU acquisition, digital aero-triangulation, stereo review and editing, 6-inch color orthoimagery, hydro-flattened LiDAR products, digital elevation models, breaklines, classified LAS 1.4 point clouds, and related reports and metadata. The contractor must update countywide planimetric and utility feature layers, revise digital terrain models and 2-foot contours, and provide deliverables compatible with ESRI and Autodesk platforms. The City of Martinsville is excluded from the planimetric and digital terrain model update phases. Proposals must include the firm's technical approach, schedule, qualifications, assigned personnel, and comparable project references from the past five years. The initial contract term is one year, with up to three additional one-year terms.
