Description
Colorado State University is seeking one or more strategic beverage partners for exclusive rights in one or more non-alcoholic beverage categories, including pouring, vending, sales, product delivery and stocking, equipment installation and maintenance, merchandising, promotional execution, and staff training. The scope covers Fort Collins and Pueblo campuses, CSU Spur in Denver, athletics venues, dining, retail, catering, conference services, vending operations, and other University-operated locations. Proposers may bid on individual categories, multiple categories, or the full portfolio. The partnership also requires comprehensive marketing and sponsorship activation, athletics support, sustainability initiatives, innovation and research collaboration, student-success and community investments, governance, reporting, and measurable performance commitments. The selected partner must provide and maintain beverage equipment at no cost to the University, support smart vending and cashless payment capabilities, meet sustainability and delivery requirements, and submit a comprehensive financial proposal. The University identifies an expected minimum annual investment of $4 million for its highest partnership designation, including a minimum annual athletics commitment of $2 million and a minimum annual sustainability investment of $500,000. Addendum Q&A confirms that the current Coca-Cola beverage agreement expires June 30, 2027, that CSU Pueblo contributed approximately 8,500 cases in fiscal year 2026, and that the University anticipates a competitive-range presentation period from December 7 through December 18, 2026.
