Description
The U.S. Army is soliciting a single-award, firm-fixed-price requirements contract for vegetation control at railroad embankments and chemical weed control on railroad tracks at Tower Barracks Grafenwoehr and Rose Barracks Vilseck, USAG Bavaria. Services include tree cutting, pruning and trimming, brush and grass mowing or mulching, root-stump milling, removal and disposal of cut trees and other non-mulch debris, and two annual herbicide applications on designated tracks. The contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, vehicles, materials, transportation, supervision, permits, and safety measures. Work includes approximately 16,800 meters of track herbicide treatment, with specified environmental restrictions and certified personnel requirements. Quotes will be evaluated using Lowest Price Technically Acceptable procedures. The technical submission must include required qualification certificates, relevant experience documentation, pricing for all base and option line items, applicable representations and certifications, and subcontracting information. The contract includes one base year and four option years, with performance periods from December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2031; task orders are expected under the requirements contract. The solicitation requires active SAM registration and submission of quotes in English by email in PDF format to the designated contracting-office recipients.
