Description
Great Rivers Greenway seeks a contractor to provide seasonal conservation project and volunteer management services on an as-needed basis. The scope includes invasive plant control using chainsaws, brush cutters, backpack sprayers, and approved herbicides; dragging and chipping woody material; five conservation-focused volunteer service days; volunteer orientation and field leadership; and additional services such as native plant installation, litter and debris cleanup, landscape bed maintenance, and graffiti removal. The contractor must provide a four-to-seven-person crew for at least 20 weeks, field supervision, independently operating and properly qualified crew members, monthly work logs, and prompt reporting of maintenance issues. Bidders must submit qualifications, firm information, a completed Exhibit B bid sheet with annual itemized pricing for 2027–2029, three similar-project references, and specified conflict, nonperformance, and litigation disclosures. The contract includes two one-year renewal options, insurance requirements, and performance and payment bonds if the contract sum is $50,000 or more.
