The U.S. Navy intends to issue a firm-fixed-price order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00174-23-G-0002 on a sole-source basis to Northrop Grumman Corporation subsidiary Alliant TechSystems Operations LLC. The contractor must provide all material and services required to manufacture, assemble, inspect, preserve, package, and ship 7.62mm MK 52 Automatic Guns (P/N 762-3000), Coaxial Gun Control Units (P/N 762-4002-1), OBRP Material Cerakote Kits (P/N 762-9830), and Sensor Assembly Harnesses (P/N 762-2164-1). Final quantities will be agreed upon during the award process, with each item treated as a separate deliverable. The notice states that Alliant TechSystems Operations LLC is the only known company with the required technical qualifications and facilities, and that the proposed action will be solicited and negotiated with only one source under FAR 6.302.
