Description
The City of Hot Springs is soliciting bids for a term contract to supply commercial-grade liquid polymer for sludge dewatering at its wastewater treatment plant. The polymer must be a liquid coagulant compatible with the City's existing equipment, meet specified performance and physical/chemical requirements, be biodegradable and inert, and contain no metals or contaminants that interfere with composting or wastewater treatment. Bidders must demonstrate at least eight years of manufacturing liquid polymer for wastewater applications and provide three wastewater treatment plant references with contact information. The estimated annual usage is approximately twenty 275-gallon totes, although quantities are not guaranteed. Deliveries must be made within seven days of order notification to the wastewater treatment plant, with the supplier providing unloading equipment and required shipment documentation. Bidders must provide at least ten gallons for testing, a certified product analysis, a certificate of liability insurance, and the required hazardous-substance disclosure or disclaimer. The contract term is one year with four twelve-month renewal terms, subject to annual budget approval, and pricing is submitted per liquid pound delivered.
