Description
Defence Construction Canada is conducting a Request for Expression of Interest for inspection, certification, maintenance, and minor repair services for fall protection systems supporting the Department of National Defence at CFB Esquimalt and 19 Wing Comox, British Columbia. The contractor will provide all required labor, materials, and equipment; perform annual inspections and five-year load tests; and address deficiencies identified during those activities. This RFEOI is the first stage of a two-step procurement. Only contractors that respond through the Electronic Bidding System by the closing deadline will be invited to the subsequent Tender Phase. Technical plans and specifications will be provided during the Tender Phase. The estimated service cost is CAD $3,800,000 over nine years, excluding GST/HST. The initial service period is three years, with up to two additional mutually agreed three-year extensions. Contractors must hold, or initiate the required sponsorship process for, a valid Designated Organization Screening security clearance to participate in the Tender Phase.
