Description
Union Station Partnership, through its manager, the New Haven Parking Authority, is gathering information from prospective operators for retail and commercial services at New Haven Union Station. Potential concepts include coffee, grab-and-go food, full-service restaurants, bar service, convenience retail, sundry sales, local goods, bike-related services, small-format grocery, personal services, temporary pop-ups, kiosks, carts, and other customer-oriented offerings compatible with a transit environment. Respondents are asked to describe their business, proposed concept, space and utility needs, operating capacity, customer-service and safety approach, experience with high-volume or controlled public environments, applicable licenses and certifications, and operational risks or constraints. Responses must use the provided respondent contact, business planning assistance, and proposed concept forms in Exhibits B and C. The RFI is for planning and information-gathering only and does not constitute a solicitation, lease offer, or commitment to award an agreement.
