Description
The Florida Department of Management Services is seeking a single vendor to provide MyFloridaNet-3 services, including statewide backbone and other telecommunications services, data transmission, and internet access for eligible schools, libraries, and non-instructional facilities. The scope includes installation and initial configuration, and may include bandwidth revisions and service for new eligible K-12 sites and libraries during the contract term. Cost is the most heavily weighted evaluation criterion. The draft contract specifies an initial seven-year term, with renewal for up to an additional seven years by mutual agreement. The attached draft contract also includes a $60 million performance bond requirement within 30 days after contract execution; this is a post-award requirement.
