Description
Washington County Public Schools is soliciting multiple vendors to provide as-needed low-voltage cabling installation, labor, materials, equipment, and supervision at WCPS locations. The price proposal requests maximum hourly rates for certified cable installers and laborers; unit prices for CAT 6 and CAT 6a cable, patch panels, connectors, faceplates, patch cables, racks, ladder racks, managers, grounding and bonding equipment, and related items; and markups for intercom materials, audiovisual materials, miscellaneous materials, subcontractors, and rental equipment. The initial contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with two additional two-year renewal terms by mutual agreement. Awarded vendors will respond to scheduled and emergency project requests, including project-specific quotations, site visits, installation, permitting, supervision, and emergency response. At least one low-voltage certified installer must be available on site as needed, and emergency requests may require response within three hours. The solicitation requires at least five years of relevant commercial or industrial low-voltage contracting experience, three references, appropriate licenses, and a dispatching office within 75 miles of the WCPS Center for Education Services.
