Description
Santa Clara Valley Water District is soliciting proposals for a five-year on-call agreement covering cultural resources, paleontological resources, and tribal cultural resources services for Stream Maintenance Program projects. Services may include desktop and records reviews, sensitivity assessments, archaeological and geoarchaeological field investigations, resource identification and evaluation, paleontological support, tribal outreach and consultation, archaeological and tribal monitoring, inadvertent-discovery and human-remains response, avoidance and treatment planning, mitigation, technical reporting, GIS support, agency submittals, and closeout packages. Work will be authorized only through task orders on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed amount of work. The estimated total not-to-exceed amount is $500,000. The selected consultant must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience, experience with cultural and paleontological resource identification and evaluation, California Native American tribal coordination, inadvertent discoveries and stopped-work situations, and appropriately qualified key staff. Proposals must include technical and cost responses, with the cost proposal submitted separately as a password-protected Microsoft Excel file through the procurement portal.
