Description
UNDP seeks an individual consultant to assess, co-design, and prepare an operational roadmap for food-secure, climate-resilient, and forest-compatible agroforestry models within Social Forestry areas under the FOLUR project. The assignment covers land capability, tenure, climate risk, food systems, market access, institutional capacity, conservation safeguards, and community livelihood considerations across target landscapes in Indonesia. The consultant will develop site-specific multi-strata agroforestry models, species portfolios, crop calendars, soil and water-management measures, restoration and conservation safeguards, capacity-building materials, business-planning tools, market-linkage recommendations, and a phased implementation strategy. Required outputs include an inception report, spatially informed agroforestry models and implementation guidance, and a final package covering training needs, institutional roles, financing, monitoring indicators, FPIC documentation, and a consolidated report. The engagement is home based for 70 working days within five months, with potential project-related travel arranged and funded by the project.
