Description
Portage County, Wisconsin, through its Purchasing Department and Construction Manager at Risk J.H. Findorff, is soliciting bids for trade contracts supporting construction of a new jail and law enforcement center. Available packages include TP 03 Concrete, TP 04 Structural Steel, TP 05 Precast Installation, TP 06 Elevator, and TP 07 Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings. Combination bids are acceptable, but only one Bid Form may be submitted per proposal; bidders may submit more than one proposal. Bid documents, including plans, instructions to bidders, the subcontractor's Bid Form, project schedule, insurance materials, safety program, and sample contract terms, are available through Findorff's PlanRoom. Vendors must contact Macy Clark for access. Questions and requests for information are due by September 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Electronic bids are due to J.H. Findorff by September 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM. No bid security or public bid opening is required.
