Description
Middle Georgia Regional Library is soliciting Internet service for 18 library locations. The required solution includes fiber Internet access with site-specific bandwidth options, static IP address allocation, managed Internet connectivity, basic firewall service, CIPA-compliant content filtering, compatibility with wireless access points, and all necessary routers, switches, firewalls, cabling, and related equipment. The vendor must provide monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, support, and on-site repairs when appropriate, with troubleshooting response within four hours during library operating hours and refunds for outages exceeding 12 hours. Advanced firewall service must be priced separately, and eligible, ineligible, one-time, and recurring costs must be identified. The contract is intended to run from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2030, with two optional one-year extensions at the library's discretion. Full implementation is required by July 1, 2027. Respondents must participate in the E-rate program and provide their SPIN and FCC Registration Number. Proposals are evaluated primarily on eligible-service cost, administrative capability, technical compliance, past performance, and support and maintenance. The proposal must include the completed vendor qualification statement, at least five references, and the completed and signed proposal form.
