Description
The State of Rhode Island, Division of Purchases, is soliciting proposals from qualified vendors to establish a Master Price Agreement (MPA) for the supply and delivery of milk, milk products, and ice cream to state agencies and eligible entities statewide. The solicitation covers three groups: Group 1 – Milk (including low-fat, whole, skim, chocolate, lactose-free, and other milk varieties in various container sizes), Group 2 – Milk Products (including cottage cheese, eggnog, yogurt, sour cream), and Group 3 – Ice Cream Products (including ice cream cups, sandwiches, popsicles, sherbet, and other frozen treats). Vendors may bid on one or more groups, but must price all items within a selected group. The contract will be for a base term of three years with two 12-month renewal options. Qualified vendors may be invited to participate in a subsequent reverse auction pricing event. Deliveries will be made to multiple locations including Eleanor Slater Hospital, Adult Correctional Institution, RI Training School, and RI Veteran's Home. Vendors must comply with health certifications, including a Food Processor License, health department inspection report, and Food Safety Manager certification. The evaluation is pass/fail based on licensing, resume, delivery capability, and completed attachments.
