Description
Peabody Municipal Light Plant is seeking firm pricing for three-phase, 60 Hz, mineral-oil-immersed, self-cooled pad-mounted distribution transformers. The base items include 150, 225, 500, 750, and 1,000 kVA units, with an alternate for five 2,000 kVA units. The transformers must meet detailed electrical, construction, protection, switching, grounding, testing, and PCB requirements in the specifications, including loop-switching provisions and specified primary and secondary voltages. Bidders must use the provided Bid Form and quote prices, delivery lead times, guaranteed losses, impedance, and primary expulsion fuse sizes. Proposals must also include construction drawings showing specified dimensions and equipment details, evidence of relevant experience and qualifications, and any applicable exceptions or alternatives. Pricing evaluation considers transformer losses. Delivery costs to the utility's jobsite must be included; certified test reports and PCB certification are required before shipment.
