The City of Jacksonville, through its Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, is requesting the purchase of three 55-inch double-sided outdoor kiosks to replace units at RiversEdge Park that were vandalized. The solicitation is being treated as a single-source purchase from Screen Outlets LLC, doing business as MetroClick, as they are the original manufacturers and installers of the existing equipment and can provide the necessary parts and repair services. The proposed solution includes more durable glass coverings to prevent future vandalism. A quote from MetroClick details the cost for three 55-inch double-sided outdoor kiosks, including hardware, software, shipping, and installation, totaling $94,424.90.
