Description
The California Walnut Commission (CWC) is soliciting proposals for two distinct services: a Trade Representative/Marketing Services agency and a Consumer Public Relations and Advertising Agency. These agencies will be responsible for increasing awareness and utilization of California walnuts in the United Kingdom and the Nordic Region. The Trade Representative will focus on maintaining relationships with the trade, including food processors, importers, distributors, and retailers, primarily in the UK, with potential retail promotional opportunities in the Nordics. The Consumer PR/Advertising agency will focus on raising consumer awareness through a multi-channel approach, including outreach to healthcare professionals and direct-to-consumer efforts, exclusively within the UK. Agencies may submit proposals for one or both services. If submitting for both, separate proposals are required for each. Collaboration between agencies, if different ones are selected, will be necessary. Prior experience working with agricultural commodity groups or generic food and beverage entities is considered helpful. This solicitation is being re-bid under U.S. Department of Agriculture Market Access Program (MAP) regulations.
