Description
The City of Gatesville is soliciting a concessionaire to lease and operate the food and beverage concession stand at the City of Gatesville Sports Complex. The selected operator will provide food and beverages, maintain the concession and serving areas, remove trash throughout the park and parking areas, supply any necessary supplemental equipment, staff the stand during scheduled games and tournaments, post menus and prices, and comply with applicable food-service, building, plumbing, electrical, health, tax, licensing, and permitting requirements. Alcohol sales are prohibited, and employees serving at the stand must hold and display valid food-handler certificates. Proposals must describe relevant concession or similar-business experience; demonstrate fiscal solvency, portable concession-stand capacity, and equal-opportunity-employer status; provide a two-year operating budget with proposed monthly fees and/or profit sharing; include a sample menu with prices and proposed merchandise; provide at least three references; and acknowledge Exhibit A's additional tournament fees. The contract term is one year, with the option to extend for two additional one-year periods by mutual agreement. Required insurance includes public liability and product liability coverage of $100,000 per person and $300,000 per incident, with certificates required before work begins.
