Description
The City of Pasadena Public Health Department is soliciting a vendor for a one-time purchase of 30,000 ciprofloxacin hydrochloride tablets at 500 mg per dose and 200,000 doxycycline tablets at 100 mg per dose. The antibiotics will be stockpiled for rapid availability to city staff and dependents following potential exposure to Category A agents. Products must be FDA-approved, properly labeled with lot numbers, expiration dates, and manufacturer information, and supplied in accordance with applicable CDC and California Department of Public Health standards. The vendor must provide temperature-controlled storage, handling, monitoring, secure shipping, lot-level traceability, inventory and delivery reporting, and customer support. Delivery is required within four business days of ordering to the designated Pasadena Public Health Emergency Preparedness site.
