Description
The City of Edmond is soliciting sealed bids for as-needed Christmas light and display installation, setup, removal, storage, wiring, purchases, and maintenance for Downtown Edmond, Luminance, and related public facilities. The work includes leased and city-owned lighting, LED mini-light purchases, installation on trees and structures, setup of an approximately 80-foot light tunnel, and installation, securing, dismantling, removal, storage, and maintenance of approximately 40 multi-section three-dimensional Christmas displays. The vendor must provide labor, equipment, tools, lifts, wiring, and seasonal maintenance, and must attend two scheduled event nights. The public Q&A clarifies that tree lighting averages 10 strands per tree, city-owned displays are to be disassembled and stored in on-site connex containers, and Package C pricing is required in addition to totals for Packages A and B. Downtown and Mitch Park work may proceed concurrently after award and submission of required insurance documentation. The initial term runs through June 30, 2027, with four annual renewal options; services are as-needed and the award does not obligate the City to use them.
