Description
Miami-Dade County is requesting a lump-sum price quotation for repairs at International Gardens Park. The work includes milling and resurfacing approximately 3,400 square feet of asphalt walkway; demolishing and removing approximately 8,200 square feet of existing asphalt; installing approximately 7,100 square feet of compacted lime rock base and asphalt overlay; seal coating approximately 5,900 square feet; and demolishing and replacing approximately 80 square feet of concrete walkways and pads. The contractor must perform field measurements and site take-offs, provide all labor, equipment, materials, and permits, remove and properly dispose of construction spoils, repair shoulders, and restore disturbed areas with 70/30 sand/soil mix and sod. The concrete must be 6 inches thick, 3,000 psi Portland cement concrete with polypropylene fiber mesh and a slip-resistant broom finish. Paving and concrete-finishing licenses are required. Davis-Bacon and maintenance-wage requirements apply, and liquidated damages are $250 per day. The estimated value is $65,092, excluding contingencies and dedicated allowances; completion is required within 30 calendar days after the anticipated start date.
