MARKET SURVEY/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ADVERTISEMENT (General/Prime Contractor for Institutional Project) Escambia Men's Prison Facility(Escambia County, Alabama) The Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC), on behalf of the Alabama Corrections Institution Finance Authority (ACIFA), is seeking responses to a Market Survey/RFI from interested General/Prime Contractors for the anticipated construction of the Escambia Men's Prison Facility in Escambia County, Alabama. General/Prime Contractors should have the capability and capacity to execute and perform, with their own forces (and/or through their subcontractors or team members), the required services in their entirety on a lump sum contract. The services are anticipated to include constructing a complex style correctional facility with approximately 2,000-beds, in the approximate amount of 750,000 square feet on a 250-acre site, comprised of an anticipated 33 buildings.

The Alabama Corrections Institution Finance Authority, through the Alabama Department of Corrections, is seeking responses to a market survey/request for information from interested general or prime contractors for the anticipated construction of a new men's correctional facility in Escambia County, Alabama. The project is expected to be a complex-style correctional facility with approximately 2,000 beds, about 750,000 square feet, approximately 33 buildings, and a 250-acre site. The work is anticipated to be performed under a lump-sum contract by a general or prime contractor using its own forces, subcontractors, or team members.
