Description
Stafford County is soliciting bids for one contract covering its Stone Lot. The contractor must furnish and deliver assorted stone products on an as-needed basis, including #8, #57, #10, #21A, #21B, #3, surge stone, Class I and Class II riprap, and #78 stone. Bidders must provide unit pricing both per ton delivered and per ton picked up; award will be based on the lowest delivered pricing, and all line items must be completed for a responsive bid. Materials must conform to the applicable Virginia Department of Transportation specifications, be sourced from a VDOT-approved vendor, and meet the current VDOT Materials Manual requirements. The contractor must provide labor, transportation, next-business-day delivery after County purchase orders unless otherwise approved, and tailgate spreading when requested. The initial contract term is one year with four one-year renewal options. The required bid package includes the County cover sheet, completed pricing schedule, and the listed requested forms and supporting information, including references, safety-violations certification, SWaM vendor data, State Corporation Commission information, ICT accessibility certification, and any addenda acknowledgment.
