Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting 58 cans of commercial off-the-shelf electrical insulating varnish, NSN 5970-00-990-4924, identified as Chase Corporation part number 1B31. Each can contains 10.75 ounces. The item is a Type I material with a 24-month non-extendable shelf life and must meet the stated technical, quality, packaging, marking, and hazardous-material requirements. The quotation must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System. The product is subject to destination inspection and acceptance, domestic-material restrictions, MIL-STD-2073-1E packaging requirements, MIL-STD-129 marking, and hazardous-material documentation requirements, including an approved Safety Data Sheet and hazard-warning label.
