Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking 6,500 paint brushes, NSN 8020-00-245-4523, under a fully competitive supply solicitation. The brushes must have soft, top-quality, 100% pure natural undyed goat hair; a setting compound; a corrosion-resistant or nickel-plated metal ferrule; a close-grained hardwood or synthetic handle at least 5 inches long; a cupped or machined chisel-edge trim; and specified minimum brush-part dimensions. The quotation must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System. The requirement is for FOB-origin delivery, destination inspection and acceptance, and delivery within 150 days after delivery order. Packaging, preservation, marking, and palletization must comply with the stated military requirements, including MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129. The solicitation is not a small-business set-aside.
