Description
The Town of Rockland, Massachusetts is soliciting bids for emergency and on-call construction services. This includes construction equipment rental and labor for various public works projects. The services may encompass trenching and excavation for drainage, sewer, and water systems, catch basin and manhole repairs, general loader and skid steer work, street sweeping, vacuum and jetting services, asphalt milling, and related electrical and plumbing excavation. The contract will be valid from June 30, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with potential extension options. Bidders must be pre-qualified as MassDOT Highway Contractors. A 5% bid bond is required, and a 50% payment bond and certificate of insurance will be required upon award. Insurance requirements include General Liability, Automobile Liability, and Workers Compensation with specific minimum coverage amounts. All wages paid must comply with Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Law.
