Description
The Joint Base Langley-Eustis Fire Department requires a fully electric mobile Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Air Resupply Trailer. The trailer must meet specific performance and structural criteria, including a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) not exceeding 3,000 lbs, constructed of corrosion-resistant materials, equipped with commercial-grade brakes, and include a matching spare tire. It must also feature integrated, high-visibility scene lighting. The power and compressor systems must include an electric battery system providing a minimum of four hours of continuous operation with dual-voltage charging capabilities. The high-pressure breathing air compressor system, powered by an electric motor, should deliver at least 15 Horsepower (HP) and 20 Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM) at 5,750 Pounds per Square Inch (PSI), meeting or exceeding the Grade E air quality standard. A digital control panel must display real-time system metrics, and a dual containment fill station should service two SCBA/SCUBA cylinders simultaneously, with at least two integrated high-pressure air storage cylinders. The contractor must provide a comprehensive two-day hands-on Operations and Maintenance training course within 60 days of trailer acceptance. Delivery of all products is required within 360 days After Receipt of Order (ARO). Security, safety, and contractor access to installations will be managed according to government requirements.
