Description
Middle Georgia Regional Library is soliciting Internet access services for 18 libraries across seven Georgia counties. The requirement includes fiber Internet service with site-specific bandwidth ranging from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps, static IP address allocation, managed Internet connectivity, basic firewall service, CIPA-compliant content filtering, monitoring, support, and compatibility with wireless access points. The provider must furnish necessary routers, switches, firewalls, connections, cabling, and other equipment, and include eligible and ineligible costs in its proposal with separate pricing where required. The contract is intended to run from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2030, with two optional one-year extensions. Full implementation is required by July 1, 2027. Vendors must participate in the E-rate program and provide a SPIN and FCC Registration Number. Proposals must include pricing, service descriptions, a completed Proposal Form-Signature Page, a vendor qualification statement, and at least five references. The solicitation also requires prompt troubleshooting, on-site repairs when appropriate, proactive monitoring, service-outage refunds for outages exceeding 12 hours, and Service Provider Invoicing under the E-rate program.
