Description
The School District of Manatee County is seeking a provider for two fully managed Layer 3 Internet access services delivered over leased lit fiber. Each circuit must provide 20 Gbps sustained throughput, be scalable to 80 Gbps in 5 Gbps increments, and include installation, equipment, 24/7 network engineering support, monitoring, reporting, dynamic routing, IPv4/IPv6 support, DDoS protection, and an E-rate-compliant managed firewall/UTM service. Services will be delivered to two Bradenton demarcation locations, with optional replacement locations and optional pricing for managed SIEM/intrusion detection and advanced DDoS services. The initial contract term is July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2032, with up to five additional one-year renewals. The selected provider must complete installation by June 15, 2027, maintain at least 99.99% monthly uptime, and provide the required proposal forms, pricing, references, certifications, and qualifications through the designated procurement portal.
