Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport and Naval Sea Logistics Center require a contractor to stock, display, fit, sell, and dispense industrial safety and occupational footwear from a contractor-owned trailer or truck at NUWC Keyport. Footwear must meet ASTM F2413-11, include a variety of men's and women's styles, sizes, colors, and brands from at least two nationally recognized manufacturers, and be available in approximately 375 pairs per year. The contractor must provide fitting tools, accept employee balance payments above government reimbursement limits, issue purchase receipts, and maintain published pricing and return policies. Services are to be provided once per month on the first Thursday, generally from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pacific Time, with specified holiday and weather contingencies. Backordered footwear must generally be delivered within seven business days and no later than 15 business days; improperly fitting unworn footwear must be replaced within 30 days, and footwear with qualifying manufacturer defects must be replaced within 35 days. The requirement is a not-to-exceed contract structured as a one-year base period with two option years. This is a sources-sought notice and not a solicitation for proposals; interested firms must complete the attached Questions for Industry questionnaire and submit capability information by email.
