Description
The Forest Service is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quotation for construction of one 20-by-60-foot, three-pen horse corral using recycled steel oil pipe, including concrete post embedment, mobilization, temporary traffic control, construction signing, site protection, and related clearing, erosion control, waste disposal, quality control, and closeout work. The contractor must provide required product documentation, shop drawings, welding qualifications, traffic and stream-protection plans, and other construction submittals. Optional work includes one additional 20-by-60-foot, three-pen corral and a hitching rail. The project requires relevant general construction, concrete, and earthwork experience. Award is anticipated to be made to the lowest-priced technically acceptable quoter, with past performance also evaluated. The total small-business set-aside requires pricing for all schedule line items; the performance period is 61 calendar days, with an estimated period from June 1 through July 31, 2027.
