Description
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) requires emergency preparedness training, services, and supplies to foster a culture of safety and resilience among its staff. This acquisition aims to equip NIAID personnel with the skills to respond effectively to workplace emergencies and recover from various hazards. The scope of work includes providing multiple sessions of First Aid/AED Combo Class, Stop the Bleed Class, and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) classes. Additionally, the contract will cover annual inspections and refills for 30 first aid kits. Training sessions may be conducted in-person or remotely at the discretion of the COR, and the contractor will assist in promoting these sessions. Specific training requirements include being an American Heart Association (AHA) Authorized Training Site and a Training Center through ECSI, with instructors possessing relevant certifications and experience. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price purchase order with a one-year base period of performance starting July 1, 2026. Services will be performed at various NIAID locations including Rockville, MD, Bethesda, MD, and Hamilton, MT.
