Description
The City of Beverly Hills is establishing a qualified signage contractors list under Section 22034 of the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act. Qualified contractors with California C-45 licenses may be considered for negotiated or informal bidding on signage installation and replacement projects arising during the list period, with up to five contractors ranked for inclusion. Applicants must submit a completed prequalification questionnaire and supporting materials, including contact and organizational information, a reviewed or audited financial statement, a notarized surety statement documenting bonding capacity, recent construction-project experience, scorable qualification responses, and other required compliance information. The questionnaire requires experience on qualifying public-sector projects, current insurance and licensing, bonding capacity, Department of Industrial Relations registration, and related labor-law compliance. A 10% bidder's security or bid bond will be required for future project bids, while selected contractors will be required to provide 100% performance and payment bonds.
