Description
The City of Pomona is soliciting bids for a five-year agreement to supply asphalt concrete hot-mix materials on a will-call, as-needed basis. The specifications identify four mix types: PG-32 Sheet Mix, PG-33 School Mix, PG-23 3/8-inch Mix Max PG 64-10, and PG-54 1/2-inch Mix MM PG 64-10, with estimated annual usage totaling 1,100 tons. Acceptable alternates may be proposed with supporting documentation. Quantities are estimates and are not guaranteed. The vendor must make materials available for pickup Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., supply quantities below 500 tons, provide fresh material from its plant, and comply with applicable public-works specifications and truck-route requirements. The bid requires online submission through PlanetBids, including completed and signed forms, references, any exceptions, and a single PDF of bid submittal documents. Insurance requirements include professional liability, general liability, workers’ compensation, and automobile liability coverage; a City of Pomona business license is required for certain deliveries within city limits.
